
Jun started playing golf at the age of five and grew up in Texas as a Junior Golfer. She competed in Junior Golf Tournaments and earned a full scholarship to the #1 ranked NCAA women’s golf team at San Jose State University in Northern California. Jun graduated with a Radio-Television and Film degree with a minor in Business Marketing. She went on to compete in golf on a professional level.
Jun has been personally trained by Hank Haney and has studied his teaching method for years. She has gained knowledge by practicing, understanding and ingraining Hanks’ method into her own game. This knowledge has given her great insight, confidence and motivation to help other golfers improve their game. She became Senior Golf Instructor at Hank Haney Golf.
In 2007, Jun started her own business by designing women’s golf apparel. After running the business on her own for 7 seasons, she partnered with Timber Creek Capital.
Jun realized that the golf industry was tragically missing the mark when it came to women’s fashion and soon after, her passion and competitive nature kicked in to start designing and manufacturing what is known today as “Designs by Jun”, Women's Golf and Every Wear.
Lisa comes with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology. This degree has been invaluable in working with others in her entrepreneurial career over the years. Lisa has previously established and managed all operational aspects of two successful startup firms over the last 10 years. Prior to Lisa’s hands on experience, Lisa was in the sales and customer service arena establishing new accounts and training for over 150 retail outlets for the Texas Lottery. Lisa has also received numerous local and national sales awards during her career at Telecheck.
Jaye began working in the New York City fashion industry in 1980 after receiving her degree in Clothing Construction and Patterning. In 1983, she joined the Dallas based fashion market as Director of Manufacturing for Johnston Inc. makers of Betty Terrell and Fischel. Her career spanned such notable organizations as Hairston Roberson, Ivey Jane, “D” by Double D Ranchwear and Bentley Arbuckle. The products that she manufactured have been marketed through such retailers as Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Sak’s Fifth Avenue, Eddie Bauer, and resorts such as King Ranch and Jackson Hole Clothiers. During the 1980’s, Jaye worked with the local sewing and cutting contractors to form Dallas Apparel Manufacturers. The Association was formed to ensure quality manufacturing and assist contractors in adhering to labor regulations.
Megan is responsible for the look and content of all marketing materials and catalogs for Designs by Jun as well as overseeing the design and interactive functionality of the Jun website. As Lead Art Director, Megan brings with her a Fine Arts degree from the Ringling School of Art & Design, experience with an interactive design firm for Fortune 500 companies, and as a graphic designer for a publicly traded insurance holding corporation.
Bill comes to Designs by Jun with more than fifteen years of customer service and sales experience. His career has provided him with in-depth knowledge of the tools and procedures used to successfully manage a large number of clients from a customer service center. Prior to Designs by Jun, Bill was Director of Customer Service for Dickies Uniforms. These experiences and opportunities have provided vast and valuable knowledge in the implementation and management of large scale customer service operations and fulfillment strategies, including the apparel and software industry. Bill’s award-winning sales record with large corporations such as Brinks and Danka also gives him valuable insight into the sales process.
Pam comes to us with over 20 years of customer service experience. After acquiring her B.S. in Apparel Design from the University of Maryland, she worked as the apparel manager for a major sporting goods store in the area. She then stayed in the retail industry for the next 7 years before becoming a recruiter for a staffing service where her main responsibility was hiring representatives for call centers. These experiences taught Pam the many different sides of customer service. Just before joining the Designs by Jun team, Pam was with a local software company where she did everything from event planning and customer service to email marketing and social media postings.
Kandice began her career with a major airline in 1995. During this time, she provided excellent customer service to the airlines most frequent and elite travelers while working in the airlines membership only travel lounge. Kandice’s experience afforded her the opportunity for growth where she became the Executive Assistant to the airlines Director of Safety for several years. Kandice brings with her a wealth of Executive Assistant knowledge and superior customer service skills. Prior to her career, she studied Communication Sciences and Disorders at TWU in Denton, TX. She is fluent in American Sign Language, passionate about natural health, and enjoys spending time with her family.
